Research and Exploration
In a workshop of 5 days, we will begin by learning an excerpt from from 'The Vile Parody of Address' by William Forsythe. Investigating creative process intrinsic to the crafting of Forsythe’s choreography, we will explore: de (re) construction, musicality, dynamics and spatial organization. Concurrently, the dancers will gain knowledge of basic improvisation skills correlating to and inspired by the works inner logic. I will start each session with a basic ballet barre, and move directly into our stated objectives.
